Eeeekkkk… I launched – now what?!

Congratulations! You did it! You survived your first party as an Usborne consultant! How exciting! It’s a bit of an adrenaline rush, isn’t it? So, now what? Here are a few important to-do’s now that you crushed it:

  • First off, your orders will ship directly to your customers from the warehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Depending on the time of the year, orders may ship the next day or take a few weeks. Hang tight. They’re worth the wait. I always recommend posting the tracking number for your customers once their items ship.
  • Next up, today is a day for FOLLOW UP. It’s so incredibly important to check in with your customers and hostess. Ask them if they need any recommendations. Post a friendly reminder to get orders in and tag those that haven’t ordered yet.
  • Your next mission is to get a few parties booked. Did this happen during your launch party? If so, yay! You’re well on your way! To reach the first W.Y.O.S.S. milestone, you need $1000 in sales which is just a few good parties strung together. Make a plan to get 2 more parties on your calendar this month. You can do this. No problem!
  • Schedule your “back-up” facebook party to re-invite your guests that couldn’t make it or reach out to another circle of friends and invite them to attend.

Watch this short video to learn:

  • How to find your customer’s tracking numbers in the back office
  • Becky’s proven strategies for following up with customers to boost your party sales
  • Incentives to get future parties booked on your calendar

Becky’s Bonus Tip: Offer a prize (like $20 extra in free books) for booking a party in lieu of mailing a gift to your prize winners. 75% of the time, you’ll get a party on your calendar!

Your To-Do List:

  • Watch this 3-minute video on what to do the day after your launch party.
  • Comment below with what went well at your launch party.
  • Follow up with guests that haven’t ordered yet. Thank guests that have ordered.
  • Book 2 more parties in the next 2 weeks.
  • Download the 30 Day Launch Workbook.

I had my first party last week and it was a complete adrenaline rush! Especially since Vizzlie isnt posting to events right now! But it was so awesome! It made me even more excited for this adventure! I was super excited because the party reached over $250 in sales! Excited to learn more and have more parties!

I had my FB launch party last Thursday and it went so well! Very much fast-paced, frantic but so much fun! Couldn’t have done it without my fabulous sponsor and team leader 🙂 Both have told me I did an awesome job at keeping up with the group with commenting and interacting. Had a few cliches and technical difficulties but was able to bounce back. I had to use a little bribing to get parties booked but now have 3 and have had 7 orders in with over $280 in sales. I’ve been extending my closing date cause of the interests I am still receiving. I really enjoy making wish lists for guests it gives me the opportunity to get familiarized with the books 😉

Guess my first question is how does one launch before receiving the starter kit? I am a bit confused a s to how people launch so far ahead. it is a little scary to feel so unsure of myself with this step. I have been concentrating on this work book, setting up my FB and website. That is completed.

Had my FB launch last night. 6 people participated and got 3 orders so far. Going to work on getting some bookings. My 2nd launch party will be next week before the Dec. 8th deadline for xmas shipping.

My launch Party was last night and it was a frenzy. I had more participation than I did when I hosted 6 months ago. Thank goodness my team leader was there to help when they asked questions about being a consultant she is great. I got 4 bookings and I was blown away by it. As soon as I posted the host a party post they snagged up the dates! I honestly got in to this to get free books for my son. I am now frantically trying to come up with a facebook page and email address just for this, setting up accounts with square and Vizzlie and other tools to help me organize this before I miss opportunities! I decided to come get through this training faster as well because this business is taking off, with or without me! The sales themselves are lacking, mainly because everyone wants to host. I still have follow ups to do though so I may recover that part! Thanks for all the training, it really helps!

My launch party was last night and it went great!!! My Sponsor was stalking in case I needed her but I believe I only had to ask her a couple questions and she only had to answer one question on my party page and that was only because the guest had been to her party previously and she tagged my sponsor with a question. I didn’t book any parties yet but I will be doing my follow ups in just a bit, so fingers crossed!! ?
So excited for my next party!!

So I’ve kinda fallen behind…. I had my launch, which went really well, but since then we’ve had family here and the 24 hour bug floating through our house! UGH! Needless to say today is my first day back at the books! Ha! I’m scheduling my second launch for next week, but I’m having trouble finding someone to host a party. I’ll keep trying, but sheesh, no one is biting!

Oh no, Kendra! Hope everyone is feeling better. Everyone is always feeling off after being sick! I think I hosted 3 or 4 parties before my husband’s cousin that we’re not even THAT close with took me up on hosting! From there, I booked 3 parties from hers… it’s all about sticking with it! You’ll find bookings!

My team leader did my first launch party and it went really well! I had a lot of people attend and there was lots of participation. I got a good amount of orders especially after following up with people and I had three bookings. I already did my second launch party and it was not as well attended and participation was not as good either. Very few orders and no bookings from that party but I’m still glad I did it because it was a learning experience for me. I was able to see somethings that needed to be changed on my posts and I just feel like I learned a lot from it. 🙂

That’s awesome, Celeste. I think it is normal to have a bigger first launch party, too! Keep you head up and focus on getting some bookings! The more parties you do, the more you’ll be comfortable with it and start to gain some momentum!

There are a few things I thought went well at my party. I had a lot of people show up and participate at my party! That was awesome. I think the flow went well (and my sis agreed). I didn’t want my party to seem boring, get too long and have people lose interest. I also did better than i thought i would on my follow up. I ended up getting a lot more orders after my follow up bc I kept the party open for a few days. Also I have 3-4 people wanting parties and I know I can get my closer friends to host too haha!
