If you haven’t received your kit yet, you’re in for a treat. It will be arriving on your doorstep shortly. In the meantime, let’s get started! Lucky for you, there is a TON you can do to launch your business before your books arrive so there’s no need to wait!
We have developed simple, easy-to-follow, self-paced learning modules to get you off to a great start. You can get up to speed in short 5-10 minute blocks of time over the next 30 days. Or, if you prefer, just block off two hours and knock it all out at once.
These are the basics you need to know to get started. While there’s plenty more to learn beyond these simple steps, this is all you need to know to begin. Take it one step at a time. I’m right here cheering you on!

Hi name is Laureen. I work full time and would like to have UBAM as a consistent side business. I have always had a great love for these books and knew it would be a fun side business. However, when shortly after we signed up we were slammed with some hardships. With all of the to do’s it was hard to emotionally keep up with the business. I felt lost and did not know where to start. I took a break hoping to gain some insight. I am back! I would like to find my place in the company. I think I was seeing lots of possibilities that I became overwhelmed where to do… so I stopped. I am ready for some guidance to help me succeed. Hey! I’m Sarah, from West Palm Beach, Florida. I had a baby a month before I joined UBAM, so I’ve had a rough start. I work as an elementary school library assistant, so books are literally my life. More than anything in the world I want to be a work-from-home mom and homeschool my daughter when she’s old enough. Morning like this one, where she cries as I try to get her ready to leave to go to my parents’ house, reinforce this that much more. My goal is to be able to grow my business and have monthly booths at events near my house. Eventually, I would love to be able to be a leader and work myself up the ladder.

Hi there! My name is Michelle Perry heading to Charleston, SC. My husband is active duty Air Force. I LOVE Usborne books! My dear friend invited me to her launch party, and I ended up hosting two parties of my own and have gone to over half a dozen parties after that. All that to say, I am hooked, and my 2 yo son is as well. Have not seen his eyes light up as much as they do with UBAM books. My 30 day goal is to earn my full kit refund and book a party a week through my 12 week incentive program. I’m doing this to build up my son’s library, for some fun, some extra cash and, most importantly, get these books in the hands of as many kids as possible.

I would like to learn what all I need to order… like where do I get the free books and prizes I’m supposed to be giving away? When do I order business cards? If I can get into a home party, how many books should I order?

Hi Carolyn, you can order these things from your back office but for prizes, also consider little items from the dollar store or dollar bin. People love to win, even small items! Also, you don’t need to order anything for a home party, just use the books from your welcome kit!

After spinning my wheels at a job that took me away from my family for 40+ hours a week it just wasn’t working out for me. So I quit and I’m taking a leap of faith in myself and this business that I can make something great out of this. I’m excited and eager to start this new chapter in my life.
Hello, My name is Michelle, my husband and I are from Texas. My husband is in the Navy and we are currently stationed in California. we have 2 kids, a 2 1/2 year old daughter named Alyssa and a 2 month old son named Christian. I am a Photographer, I love taking picture of people, and just the thought of my work being cherished for a lifetime really brings the happiness in to what I do. I’m also in the process of getting my Nursing degree, I still have a long way to go but some day I will get there. I joined because I love books, I love to read and I love that my daughter has such a beautiful interest in books. When I first got introduced to Usborne Books, I immediately fell in love. I wish I had books like this when I was a child, would have definitely made learning that much more exciding. I joined to build our personal library and help spread the love to family and friends. however, I do believe and after hearing may success stories that I might end up on a whole different level than I’m expecting to. When I get the hang of things and start putting in dedication I get hooked with a passion…so I’m excited where this journey will take me.

Hey! I am a stay at home mom with two toddlers(4 yr old and soon to be 3 yr old). I currently run a cake/cookie business from home and love being able to use my skills and passion to bring in some extra income. So I never thought about running another business on top of that. However, I absolutely LOVE Usborne books! Our kids love to read and do activities, and Usborne has such a great selection and quality. 🙂 I took advantage of the February launch kit so that I could get the discount, but ever since I joined I got this urge to sell them as well…I want to share these amazing books with everyone! I would love to do fundraisers or donations of some kind to spread these books to kids and families in need. I already juggle a tight schedule with the kids and the cake business, so I’m hoping to get some easy quick tips on how to do Facebook parties and fundraisers. I’m Nicole Burkhart from Crestline, OH. I am a stay at home mommy to our 3 beautiful children (ages 6, 3, & 1) and work part time evenings and weekends at a children’s resale store. I was first introduced to Usborne books last October after my oldest son was hospitalized and a friend of my MIL’s gave him some books to make him feel better. I love the books he received and wanted to learn more about this company. Before becoming a SAHM, I was a Preschool teacher and one of my favorite times of the day was when I would read books to the children. I am super excited to join UBAM and get my training underway! I am looking forward to not only making extra income for my family but to also teach others about these awesome books and company! I would eventually like to extend my training out to do book fairs and fundraisers for our local schools.

Hey guys! I’m in southern Georgia. I went to an Usborne FB party last year and fell in love with the books. I homeschool my three kids and the nonfiction books are fantastic for supplementing our curricula. All three kids have fell in love with at least one of the series…even my reluctant readers!!!! ( You can’t see me, but every time I say that I do a happy dance lol) I joined mainly for the discounts. I would eventually love to do fundraisers for the local schools here so that classrooms can have books. Especially do one at the end of the school year so children without access to the school library or public libraries will have, at the very least, one book to be able to take home to read over the summer and build their library. Also making some extra money sounds pretty nice lol. I’m excited to get started!

I love how clear and concise you make it for the starting consultants! I’ve already referred my first TWO recruits over her to use your training series! I just started on the 27th of January. I started your series 2 weeks ago (basically same time) and while I just really sat down to focus on it. I have already followed the 2 launch parties in first 7 days and have booked 2 parties per week through the end of this month (my 2nd Launch I had another party the day after!).
